SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police have accused a woman of making numerous 911 calls with no emergency.

Police said the caller, identified as 43-year-old Sara Margolis, used various names and spoke of issues going on in Vermont along with her personal agenda. They said she phoned 911 eight times Monday, along with two prior occasions that resulted in police responses with no merit.

Margolis was taken into custody on a charge of false public alarms. She was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

It could not be verified whether she had a listed phone number or an attorney.
