SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Aaron Gutierrez scored 36 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Texline rolled over Graford 76-48 Thursday in the Class 1A boys’ state semifinals.

Freshman Gannen Braddock added 15 points for Texline (34-3), which shot 55 percent from the field.

Graford’s offense, built on 3-point shots, struggled after the first quarter. Graford (30-4) made just 6 of 35 attempts from long range, including a stretch of 20 misses after making four of its first five.

Graford didn’t make a field goal in the second quarter and Texline built a 19-14 lead into 37-18 by halftime. Carter Laramore grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds as Texline also dominated the boards 52-34.

Quinton Tabor led Graford with 15 points, while Borja Astray scored 11.
