DENVER (AP) - The Winter Park ski train is back on track for the ski resort’s 75th anniversary on Saturday.

All 400 tickets were sold out for the roundtrip ski train excursion to the resort from Denver.

The Amtrak train will deposit skiers near the lifts, just as a private train did from 1940, when the resort opened, until 2009.

Officials say insurance and other costs doomed the regular service.

A second trip on Sunday is also sold out.
