WEST POINT, Utah (AP) - A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend’s former boyfriend in Davis County.

Investigators say Jory Fenstermaker was arrested Sunday afternoon in Farmington after a countywide manhunt.

Sheriff Todd Richardson says Fenstermaker and a 29-year-old man began arguing early Sunday morning while they were inside a West Point home along with a woman.

He told The Standard-Examiner newspaper of Ogden ( ) that Fenstermaker, the woman’s current boyfriend, became upset and shot the other man, who was the woman’s ex-boyfriend.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.

The sheriff says alcohol was a factor in the 12:30 a.m. shooting.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
