BOONVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A Boonville woman has pleaded guilty to charges filed in connection with the death of a man whose body was found at a southwestern Indiana plant.

Jade Stigall appeared in Warrick Court Superior Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal. In exchange for the guilty plea, murder, conspiracy to commit murder and a firearm charge were dismissed.

The 24-year-old Stigall was charged in the death of 35-year-old Joseph Nelson of Martinsville. His body was found by workers in the coal-handling system of a power plant east of Evansville.

Two men, David John Lackey, Jr. and Mathew McCallister, are awaiting trial on murder charges in Nelson’s death.

Shawn Grigsby pleaded guilty in July to conspiracy to commit murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Stigall will be sentenced April 9.
