NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd says guard Michael Carter-Williams is starting against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night after sitting out the Bucks’ previous game with a sore right ankle.

Kidd says guard Jerryd Bayless, who like Carter-Williams was listed as questionable, is also available to play against New Orleans.

Carter-Williams is averaging about 15 points per game this season and has been one of Milwaukee’s leading scorers since being acquired in a trade from Philadelphia in February.

He returns to a short-handed Bucks squad which has lost two straight and seven of 10.

Milwaukee is without forward Jared Dudley, who has been bothered by back spasms, and guard O.J. Mayo, who has a sore right hamstring.
