GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Huntington Bank says the planned opening this year of 43 full-service branches in retailer Meijer’s stores in Michigan will add 250 jobs statewide.

With the additions announced Tuesday, Huntington Bank will have 2,300 employees in Michigan. The expansion by Columbus, Ohio-based Huntington Bancshares Inc. will mean Huntington Bank has more than 220 Huntington branches in Michigan.

Huntington’s branches at Grand Rapids-based Meijer’s stores also include 24-hour access ATMs. Extended hours offer banking in the evening and on weekends.
