MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - One man has been charged and two juveniles face potential charges in the wake of a St. Patrick’s Day flash mob in downtown Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County attorney’s office says 21-year-old Elijah Morgan-Hamilton was charged with second-degree riot. A 16-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of riot and a 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of assault were being handled in the juvenile system, and the prosecutor’s office provided no other details.

Authorities estimated at least 300 teens and young adults used free rides on the city’s bus system on the holiday to get downtown. Several fights followed and multiple agencies were summoned to restore order.

A spokesman for the county attorney said he didn’t know if Morgan-Hamilton had an attorney.
