NEWARK, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police have arrested two men after a resident was cut with a knife during a home invasion.

Officers say about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, the resident let in a man he was acquainted with and a man he did not know. Authorities say when the resident turned his back on the men, they cut him on the head and neck with a large butcher knife.

The victim was treated and released at a local hospital.

Investigators identified two suspects, who were arrested at their homes. Nineteen-year-old Jeffrey Davidson and 18-year-old Jarold Pastro Jr., both of Newark, have been charged with home invasion, assault, and other offenses.
