CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities say a Casper man and a Powell woman were killed in separate crashes on Wyoming highways over the weekend.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 44-year-old Jerry Fernandez, of Casper, died in a single-vehicle crash Friday night. The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1OtLklQ ) he was driving a pickup truck north of Casper when he went off the roadway, overcorrected and entered the median.

His vehicle rolled multiple times.

Meanwhile, criminal charges are pending against a 76-year-old woman who was involved in a fatal crash north of Powell on Saturday.

The Patrol says the woman ran a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle, killing 70-year-old Patricia Miller, of Powell.

The crashes mark the 21st and 22nd highway deaths in Wyoming this year.
