SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Police in Salem, Oregon, say a commercial truck negotiating a curve rolled over, spilling two flatbed trailers loaded with lumber and temporarily blocking traffic.

Lt. Steve Birr says the Monday afternoon crash on the Salem Parkway also sheared off a power pole. The truck leaked diesel fuel.

Police identified the driver as 46-year-old Douglas Barnes of Amity. Birr says the driver was not hurt.

Investigators say excessive speed appears to have been a major factor.
