BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Bismarck man accused of impersonating a Department of Veterans Affairs doctor in order to obtain drugs has pleaded not guilty.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1DSGlbt ) that 35-year-old Jason Fuller is accused of calling a medical center, claiming to be a VA doctor and asking a pharmacy to fill prescriptions for a controlled substance.

Fuller is charged in state court with attempt to acquire a controlled substance by deception, a felony that carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison.
