MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (AP) - The town of Middlebury, Vermont, is breaking ground on its new office building.

Vermont Public Radio reports (https://bit.ly/1N4boCF) the ceremony is taking place Tuesday afternoon at the new home of the town offices and former location of Middlebury College’s Osborne House, which was moved to a lot previously owned by the town as part of a land swap approved by voters.

Plans are to demolish the old town office building after the new town offices are built and occupied. Middlebury College plans to build a public park at the site.
