FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say a stretch of road was closed after several pigs ran free following a two-vehicle crash in northeastern Indiana.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a truck hauling pigs late Monday afternoon.

WANE-TV (https://bit.ly/1BeaFaq ) reports it’s unclear whether the pigs were released after the crash or they were able to escape from the truck on their own.

Lafayette Center Road was closed for several hours between Lower Huntington and Aboite roads while the pigs were rounded up.
