WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - West Chester University says two students were assaulted during attempted robberies near campus and another was sexually assaulted in a dormitory in separate incidents last week.
The state-owned university outside Philadelphia warned students to be alert after the attempted robberies Thursday and Saturday. The university says they involved men approaching students as they walked alone, demanding cash and hitting them.
Neither student gave up any money. No injuries were reported.
A West Chester spokeswoman says the sexual assault Friday involved a female victim who knew the alleged perpetrator.
No arrests have been made.
