CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The founder of the fast-growing Jersey Mike’s sandwich restaurant chain is in South Carolina to mark the company’s Day of Giving..

Founder and CEO Peter Cancro is scheduled to spend the day at a Jersey Mike’s in North Charleston.

The chain has announced that not just a percentage, but all the proceeds from sales at its 11 Charleston-area outlets on Wednesday are being donated to Windwood Family Services, a local charity.

Last year, the chain raised $30,000 in the Charleston area and nationally gave more than $2 million to 100 local charities on its Day of Giving.
