CLAXTON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a man has been stabbed to death with a knife in the southeast Georgia town of Claxton.

Evans County sheriff’s officials say they’re investigating the killing, which happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday in a mobile home park.

Evans County Sheriff Randall Tippins tells WTOC-TV (https://bit.ly/1OyIzQu) that the slaying happened after some type of domestic dispute at the residence. Authorities say 35-year-old James R. Mills of Claxton was killed with a knife.

Authorities say a suspect was detained by law officers and was being questioned.

Claxton is about 50 miles west of Savannah.
