SALISBURY, N.C. (AP) - A woman has been taken to a hospital after she was pinned by a vehicle inside a Salisbury store.

Local media outlets report that the crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at a drug store.

A 61-year-old driver told police she thought her foot was on the brake, but it was on the accelerator, when she crashed through the front of the store. Emergency officials say 47-year-old Terry Cuthbertson was pinned between store shelving and a Cadillac SUV.

Officials have not said if any charges are being filed. Cuthbertson was taken to a hospital, and her condition has not been released.

The glass front of the building was demolished, but officials said the building is structurally sound.
