WESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Officials say a murder suspect scaled a 15-foot fence to escape from a West Virginia psychiatric hospital.
The search continued Tuesday night for Rocco Jesse Zuccar, who escaped Monday from the William R. Sharpe Jr. Hospital in Weston.
Law enforcement officials tell The Exponent Telegram (https://bit.ly/1DVxOV6 ) that Zuccaro may have had help in fleeing the area.
Zuccaro was awaiting trial for the 2013 shooting death of 30-year-old Jason Pratz in Brooke County. He was at Sharpe for a psychological evaluation.
