BOTTINEAU, N.D. (AP) - Authorities in Bottineau County have arrested a man in the shooting of two people at a Landa hog farm.

Sheriff Steve Watson tells The Associated Press that a suspect is in custody, and there is no longer any danger to the public.

Watson says more details will be released later. The sheriff’s department, state Bureau of Criminal Investigation and other law enforcement agencies are still investigating.

Officials found the two bodies at Turtle Mountain Pork on Tuesday morning while responding to an emergency. The victims were not immediately identified.

Area schools went into lockdown mode for a time after the incident.
