BELLEVUE, Iowa (AP) - An eastern Iowa bar owner has been sentenced to more than eight years in prison following her drug conviction.

The Dubuque Telegraph Herald (https://bit.ly/1BrOJrx ) reports 38-year-old Kaybe L. Bullock had pleaded guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. Charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm were dropped as part of her plea agreement.

Bullock was sentenced in a Cedar Rapids federal court Monday and was fined $10,000. She also must serve five years of supervised release once she completes her prison sentence.

Law enforcement officials executed search warrants in September at her Bellevue home and at her bar called Frontier Bar. They say they found methamphetamine inside a vault in the bar’s basement.
