ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is hosting an annual emergency firefighter training workshop for the first time this week.

Anchorage television station KTVA (https://is.gd/WuirnR) reports firefighters from airports around the country and from five nations are in Anchorage for the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Workshop.

Organizers say the workshop focuses on responding to aviation emergencies at airports.
