LAS VEGAS (AP) - A judge scheduled a May 8 preliminary hearing for a 33-year-old woman who police found lounging in a home where a man was beaten to death with a crowbar earlier this week.

Jennifer Mae Mustachia made an initial court appearance Thursday in Las Vegas Justice Court following her arrest Tuesday in the slaying of 47-year-old Edward Michael Turner.

Mustachia faces murder, conspiracy, burglary and kidnapping charges that could get her the death penalty or life in prison if she’s convicted.

Mustachia is jailed without bail. Her deputy public defender, Amy Feliciano, declined comment outside court.

Two unidentified men are being sought in the late Monday slaying at a home in northeast Las Vegas.

It was discovered after Turner’s sister rode her motorized wheelchair to a convenience store to summon police.
