WHITEHALL, Wis. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials in western Wisconsin say a missing boy has been found dead in a creek near his overturned all-terrain vehicle.

Fourteen-year-old Ayrton “AJ” Platt left his grandparents’ home near Whitehall in Trempealeau (TREMP-eh-loh) County on his ATV Wednesday about 5:30 p.m. State and local agencies began a search for the boy. His body was found the next morning shortly before 9 a.m.
