ATLANTA (AP) - Police have arrested a man accused of killing a construction worker from Alabama outside an Atlanta supermarket.

Atlanta polices said they arrested 29-year-old Demarius Thompson on Thursday. Police say Thompson is charged in the March 10 death of Joshua Richey.

Police said Richey, who was from Hayden, Alabama, was killed in what appeared to have been a robbery. His co-worker said the two were working outside the Kroger supermarket when a man entered their pickup truck. When Richey approached the truck, the man shot through the window, killing him.

Police say Thompson was taken into custody without incident while he was eating lunch. They say he was taken to the Fulton County jail. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.
