ST. LOUIS (AP) - Police in St. Louis have surrounded two homes owned by a man charged with several federal gun crimes, but the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1OANFLU ) reports that there is concern that the homes are booby trapped.

Police converged on the homes in the Baden neighborhood Thursday morning. Tactical trucks were brought in and authorities prepared a police robot to enter one of the homes.

The houses belong to 53-year-old David Michael Hagler. He was charged with several federal counts on Tuesday and taken into custody Wednesday.

Information obtained by the Post-Dispatch shows that authorities believe Hagler is an anarchist with extreme anti-law enforcement views.
