SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A 32-year-old woman has been charged in a hit-and-run crash in Sioux Falls that sent five people to the hospital.

Sioux Falls police spokesman Sam Clemens says Mandy Lee Running was arrested earlier this month. She was charged Wednesday with two counts of felony hit-and-run.

Police say the crash happened March 4 when Running drove a car through a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. The initial collision also caused Running’s vehicle to hit a parked car.

The Argus Leader (https://argusne.ws/1HPSCih ) reports all of Running’s passengers were taken to local hospitals.

Clemens says three of the passengers gave Running’s name to police after she fled the scene.

It wasn’t immediately known if she has an attorney.
