BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The partially nude body of a Baton Rouge woman has been found near an auto shop.

Police say the body of 34-year-old Jemina Williams was discovered shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday behind a white pickup parked under a canopy in a parking lot near the shop.

Dr. Beau Clark, the East Baton Rouge Parish coroner, said Williams’ autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Cpl. Don Coppola Jr. says Williams appeared to have suffered several gunshot wounds.

Coppola says an employee of the auto shop, New World International, is believed to have found Williams’ body.
