TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Officials say two people were treated for injuries after a train smashed into a truck at a railroad crossing in Tuscaloosa.

The Tuscaloosa News reports (https://bit.ly/1GgAJbC ) both men who received medical treatment were aboard the train. Gene Holcomb, a spokesman for the Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue Service, said one man suffered a broken arm while the other complained of neck and back pain. They were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center.

Authorities say the driver of the truck was not injured. The collision happened Monday at a crossing on Crabtree Road in Tuscaloosa.
