SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Funeral services for Deedee Corradini, the only female mayor in the history of Salt Lake City, have been set for Monday.

Women’s Ski Jumping USA says a public memorial service is planned Monday at noon at the Wasatch Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City. A reception will be held from 2-4:30 p.m. at the Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon.

Corradini died Sunday at her home in Park City from the effects of lung cancer. She was 70.

As mayor of Salt Lake City from 1992-2000, she helped bring the Winter Olympics to Utah in 2002.

As the president of Women’s Ski Jumping USA for 10 years, she led a push to get women’s ski jumping in the Olympics for the first time at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
