NEW YORK (AP) - Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man on a PATH train in Manhattan.

Port Authority Police spokesman Joe Pentangelo says the suspect stabbed the 38-year-old victim in the chest as the train was traveling southbound between 23rd and 33rd streets just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect then fled the train at 33rd Street. Officials say the victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. It’s not clear what prompted the violence or if the two knew each other.
