FAR HILLS, N.J. (AP) - The Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs will be the host site for the 2018 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.

The United States Golf Association announced Kingston Springs as the site on Tuesday. The event will take place on Aug. 6-12, 2018.

The Golf Club of Tennessee is located about 25 miles west of Nashville. The course was designed by Tom Fazio and opened for play in March 1991.

This will be the 16th USGA championship conducted in the state of Tennessee, and the third in a four-year span. The 2015 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur will take place at Hillwood Country Club in Nashville. The 2016 U.S. Junior Amateur is scheduled for The Honors Course in Ooltewah.
