CANADIAN, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say two people have died in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend in Pittsburg County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 39-year-old Malinda Arthur of Eufaula and 43-year-old Jeremy Robinson of Savanna.

Troopers say Arthur was driving on a county road near Canadian on Saturday when the vehicle left the roadway to the right. It traveled back onto the roadway before veering off again to the left, overturning at least one time. Arthur and Robinson were pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway patrol says two passengers were airlifted to Tulsa hospitals and were in stable condition. The cause of the crash was listed as unsafe speed, but the patrol notes the driver smelled of alcohol.

Authorities say no one in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt.
