MCCALL, Idaho (AP) - An antler hunter flown into north-central Idaho but who failed to show up for his pre-arranged flight out has been found dead.

Valley County authorities say searchers found the body of 61-year-old Hal Blanton of McCall at about 10 a.m. Sunday southeast of McCall.

Authorities say he was dropped off Wednesday to hunt for shed antlers but didn’t show up Saturday to be picked up, and the pilot contacted authorities.

Officials say a cause of death hasn’t been determined but nothing appears to be suspicious.
