BALDWIN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a grass fire burned about 200 acres of land in central North Dakota.

Fire Chief J.D. Youngbird says volunteers from the Wilton Fire District responded to a report of a fire just north of Baldwin late Sunday afternoon. He says firefighters were able to reach the blaze and contain it in about an hour.

Youngbird tells The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/1BVpTjR ) that the fire started as a controlled burn but the wind caused it to quickly spread across the dry grassland.

The fire didn’t cause any injuries or property damage.
