INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Inglewood authorities say police shot a man who confronted officers investigating reports of an assault.

Police Lt. Gabriela Garcia says a loaded gun was found at the scene of the shooting early Monday.

City News Service reports the man, 33-year-old Juan Espinoza, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Garcia says a man with multiple gunshot wounds was also found in the area. He was hospitalized in stable condition.
