BENTONVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Benton County sheriff’s office says a smaller crew will continue the search for a 21-year-old woman who went missing after her canoe capsized in a northwest Arkansas lake.

The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1DktgGA ) reports Stacey Hernandez of Rogers went missing last Tuesday.

Authorities say her family was renting a cabin on Beaver Lake when five from the group went out on the water in a paddle boat and canoe. The group scattered when the boats capsized, and Hernandez wasn’t wearing a life jacket. A full-scale search for her continued through Monday but was unsuccessful.

Capt. Lynn Hahn of the sheriff’s office says authorities will search again, but in a smaller group. Hahn says authorities are confident that Hernandez’s body is in the lake.
