ROCKINGHAM, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Public Service Board has approved a 100-foot tall telecommunications tower in the town of Rockingham.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports (https://bit.ly/1bI41RH) the board found the project is intended to expand and improve wireless coverage.

Verizon Wireless Inc., will be allowed to install the tower on land southwest of Rockingham Road.
