INDIANFIELDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say at least two people have died in crashes on Michigan roads because of ice and slush from this week’s snowfall.

WNEM-TV says 32-year-old driver Tammy L. Shonk of Mayville was killed in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Tuscola County’s Indianfields Township. It’s just south of Caro in the Thumb, about 80 miles north of Detroit.

The Oakland County sheriff’s department says 22-year-old McKenna R. Kreischer of Westland was fatally injured Tuesday in Commerce Township when she lost control of her pickup truck and slid in front of an oncoming SUV.

WNEM-TV says 80-year-old Maxine of Saginaw County’s Thomas Township died from exposure after her car got stuck in Albee Township.

She was reported missing Feb. 27 and found dead Saturday.
