SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) - A Saginaw County couple says they’re grateful they got some lost cash back after it was found by good Samaritan.

James Forbes tells WNEM-TV (https://bit.ly/1FaUQEs ) that he accidentally left an envelope holding $80 at a Salvation Army store. He says the envelope was gone when he went back.

Victoria Gombar says she found the envelope, which still had the withdrawal receipt in it. She took it to a credit union and deposited it into the couple’s account.

The couple got an email saying the money had been put back in their account. Forbes’ fiancee, Kayla Harper, says she posted a message on Facebook to try to find out who did it. Gombar says her mother saw the post, and Gombar realized it was about herself.

Harper says she thanked Gombar via Facebook, and that they plan to meet in person soon.
