ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Dozens of employers with at more than 300 positions to fill will be participating in a job fair hosted by the New York National Guard at its suburban Albany headquarters.

The Hiring Our Heroes Veterans’ Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Division of Military and Naval Affairs complex in Latham. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation will conduct an employment workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The Cuomo administration says more than 70 employers with at least 350 jobs to fill will participate. The companies include Global Foundries, Albany Molecular Research, NAPA Auto Parts, Amtrak and General Electric.

The job fair is one of a series of events held nationwide to match veterans, military spouses and Reserve and National Guard members with employers.
