NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say signal problems and FDNY activity have caused delays across a number of New York City subway lines.

WABC (https://7ny.tv/1EghOwM ) says a fire at Lexington Avenue and East 59th Street in Manhattan was causing problems on the N and Q lines at mid-morning Wednesday.

The signal problems were affecting the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, “F”, “D” and “S” lines.

There also were issues with northbound “R” trains.
