PLEASANT VALLEY, Nev. (AP) - Wildlife officials are looking for two people who may have poached a deer in northern Nevada.

The two males were seen with a mule deer doe that was shot in the yard of a home on Broken Arrow Lane in Pleasant Valley at the base of the Ruby Mountains.

A Nevada Department of Wildlife statement said the animal was loaded into a bright or electric blue, late model Dodge pickup truck around 4 p.m. on Feb. 20.

Game Warden Matt Glenn said the department is following up on leads and is now seeking the public’s help.

Anyone with information should call Operation Game Thief at (1800) 992-3030 or the state department of wildlife in Elko at (775) 777-2300.
