SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) - A grand jury in west-central Ohio has indicted a man on a charge of involuntary manslaughter for allegedly selling heroin to a person who then suffered a fatal overdose.

Officials in Clark County said Tuesday that 24-year-old Lucas Fowler also was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.

Authorities said 26-year-old William Quickle bought heroin from Fowler and died of an overdose last Oct. 2.

Fowler, of Springfield, was arrested Monday. He was in the county jail with no bond. Jail records didn’t indicate if he had an attorney.
