ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque police are looking for a 32-year-old man who allegedly tried to run over a bond agent before shooting at another person.

Police said bond agents were trying to locate Carlson Jones for absconding from a bond they’d posted and that he drove at one of them as they approached him Monday night.

According to police, that bond agent shot at Jones’ vehicles numerous times, but he drove off.

Police said Jones was followed by a person that police described as both a “passerby” and a “Good Samaritan” and that Jones shot at that person’s vehicle, hitting its windshield.

Nobody was injured.

Police said Jones is sought on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at or from a motor vehicle.
