NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Devonta Pollard scored 17 points and hit all six of his free throws in overtime to lift Houston to a 68-63 comeback win over Tulane on Wednesday night.

Pollard, who finished 9 of 10 from the line, scored Houston’s first six points in OT to give the Cougars 65-62 lead with 2:24 left. Tulane cut the gap to three with 1:22 to go before Cavon Baker stretched Houston’s advantage by going 1 of 2 from the line and Eric Weary Jr. put it out of reach with a pair of free throws with just a tick left on the clock.

Tulane missed five shots from the field during the OT period and hit just 2 of 6 from the line.

Jherrod Stiggers also scored 17 and Baker added 11 for Houston, which sank 26 of its 33 free throws.

Louis Dabney and Payton Henson led Tulane with 15 points apiece.
