CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Curtis Taylor has stepped down as the Division of Natural Resources’ wildlife chief.

The Charleston Gazette (https://bit.ly/1Gh4dGb) reports Taylor retired Monday. He had headed the wildlife section for 14 years and was a DNR employee since 1979.

Taylor says it was time for him to move on.

DNR Director Bob Fala says assistant wildlife chief Paul Johansen will serve in Taylor’s role until a replacement is hired.
