SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Three students at a San Antonio-area high school have been slightly hurt after being shot allegedly by a fellow teen with two BB guns.

Judson Independent School District spokesman Steve Linscomb says the students were treated for minor injuries after being wounded Thursday morning.

Linscomb says the shooting happened in a locker room at Judson High School in Converse. A school nurse attended to the injured youths.

Authorities say a coach was nearby and helped detain the 18-year-old suspect. Details weren’t immediately available about a motive or possible charges.

A school district statement says the student took two BB guns to campus, which briefly was locked down after the incident around 10 a.m. CST Thursday.

Further details weren’t immediately available.
