SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Three Sioux Falls residents have been indicted on drug and child abuse charges following reports from social workers who said say they found a bag of meth in a child’s diaper.

The Argus Leader reports (https://argusne.ws/1Ff1edI ) Alex Robinson, Naomi Redowl and McKeasha Parks were charged in a two-count indictment. Authorities allege that social workers found a small bag of methamphetamine in the diaper of the 2-year-old child of two of the suspects.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says the three were initially arrested for shoplifting at Walmart. The 2-year-old was then taken into protective custody at the Children’s Inn. Social workers there say they found the drugs.

It’s unclear whether the three have attorneys.
