DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - An autopsy is planned on a body found buried in the snow near downtown Dayton.

Police said a construction worker discovered the body of 55-year-old Zachary Watkins on Wednesday morning. He’d been reported missing Monday.

The Dayton Daily News (https://bit.ly/1CxDF29 ) reports Watkins’ body was found lying on his back, and it appeared he had been there for a few days buried under snow. Police say the body was revealed after the snow melted.

The coroner’s office is expected to do an autopsy and make a preliminary determination of cause of death on Thursday.
